Job Title: Financial Manager - Kenya

Job description:
- Manage company finance staff through establishment of performance goals, allocation of resources
  and assessment of policies.
- Manages the review, selection, testing, and installation of new financial computer applications.
- Supervise the maintenance of municipal financial systems; to interpret applicable laws and regulations
  and to determine fiscal impact and to analyze a variety of complex problems.
- Develop, interpret, coordinate and communicate company policies on finance, accounting,
  budgeting, financial/accounting systems, internal controls and auditing.
- Analyze and interpret data and develop clear and informative methods to present financial information,
  special projects and focused studies to executive management.
- Coordinate the production and filing of government required reports, third party rate reviews,
  and other financial information for associations and the general public.
- Prepare RFPs for banking services; evaluate responses; assist in the negotiation and administration
  of bank services, fees, and contracts.
- Supervise the Accounts Receivable function; approve invoices for payment, write-off, delinquencies,
  and cancellations.

Knowledge & Experience:
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience.
- Strong background in financial analysis, financial reporting, and budgeting.
- Knowledge of principles and processes related to business planning, analysis and budgeting.
- University Degree in Accounting, Finance or related fields.
- A CFA, CPA or advanced degree in finance would be a plus.
- Excellent English communication skills
– written and verbal, French is preferable.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting a strategic vision into an operational model.

- Is the primary client contact for the project.
- Manages all project team members.

Knowledge & Experience:

- Ability to assert oneself to manage a group of people on site.
- Experience of working with film crews would be an advantage.
- Engineering University Degree plus Project Management certification.
- Minimum 5 years direct project Management experience within the ICT industry or minimum
  10 years related industry experience.
